Working in the comfort of your home could really be more
efficacious than ever thought.
I have always wanted to try that for some time until COVID
19 gave us the opportunity.
This counterargument is that working from home makes
you lazy and less productive.
I don’t think so; I guess the only reason there is a
counterargument to working remotely is to enrich the elite in society.
For instance, who will buy gas to drive to work if everybody
is working from home?
Who will pay for office space if we all working from home?
Research conducted on this topic comparing it to working
from the office has the following finding.
1. Increase in productivity;

to make you more productive. With peace of mind, you are sure to produce more.
2. No commuting time;
There is nothing like being stuck in traffic while going to
work. All that commuting time will be saved to do more work,
increasing productivity. We can all attest that there is a lot of stress in driving
to and from work every day.
3. No expenses on rent;
Your company will save more money for itself because there
will not be rent to pay if everybody is working from home.

The probability of you being involved in an accident while
traveling to work has been lowered by over 90%.
6. You are free to start work anytime;
Whether you want to work at 12am in the morning or 2pm in
the afternoon, there is that flexibility for you o do so.
7. It saves you money;
Working from home saves you a lot of money; imagine the
expenses you make at the end of every month just for work alone.
You buy new clothes for work, and you have to buy gas or pay
for taking public transport, car maintenance, parking fee, and other hidden
costs.
8. More time with the family;
Most people hardly get time to be around the family because
of work. You leave early in the morning and come back late, taking away the joy
of being around your loved ones.
A happy home is a happy life.
9. Innovation;
Studies have shown a higher chance of being
more creative when surrounded by things that inspire you.
10. Skills improvement;

acquire more skills in your free time. You can learn new courses online to add
to the primary skill you have at hand.
Concluding, there are a lot of benefits from working
remotely compared to the argument of it being a lazy approach to work.
Over 90% of people said they will not return to the office
after COVID because of the flexibility of working remotely.
Working from home tends to make us live happier and increase
our productivity.
