Kitchen shutters are usually strategically positioned on top of kitchen cabinets that are on the floor to prevent you from bending down whiles trying to carry appliances from it.

With that said, it will be fair to know what a kitchen cabinet is too.

Installation

Most kitchen shutters do not include the wooden unit; you must purchase the mechanism system separately.

To produce the furniture unit, you'll need to engage a professional carpenter or a handyman.

If you're a DIY fanatic like me, you can do the installs yourself.

You will, however, require some further help. My wife, who is also a DIY enthusiast, came in handy to help me with the installs.

After your handyman has completed the construction of your furniture unit, you will need to purchase the mechanism system, as I previously stated.

Turn the furniture unit upside down so that the top is on the table and the bottom, which should be down, is elevated up.

Remove the front-facing cover profile from the shutter unit and the protective film from the handle.

Attach the handle to the shutter unit; the front of the profile should have some screw holes.

Fasten the shutter unit to the wooden framework by sliding it into the furniture unit.

The shutter unit has pre-drilled holes into which you must insert the screws with a screwdriver.

This is where you may need assistance from someone to support the furniture for you while you tighten the screws.

Fasten the screws to the track profile and the shutter unit, making sure they are well aligned.

The track profile is a lengthy plastic-like material into which the shutter can glide when the unit is opened and closed.

A cover the same height as the tracking unit is also included to conceal the fastener screws.

Then, at the end parts of the tracked units, insert the end caps and secure them with screws.

Turn the furniture unit upside down again, this time with the shutter units in the top position. Snap the track covers onto the respective bases.

Slightly lower the door and activate the door stoppers, which are located towards the top of the furniture unit.

Remove the protective film from the front profile and carefully slide it away from the top of the furniture, then snap in the top ends. Your kitchen shutter is now ready to use.
